These Valentine's-worthy truffles deliver rich chocolate flavor with nourishing ingredients, so you can enjoy every bite without feeling like you've "fallen off track." Self-love doesn't mean skipping the chocolate. It means choosing treats that love you back.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Medjool dates (softened in hot water)
  • ⅔ cup nut or seed butter
  • 3 tbsp cacao powder
  • 1½ tsp cinnamon
  • 1 scoop protein powder
  • A pinch of salt

Optional:

  • 1–2 tbsp warm water (if needed)
  • Cocoa powder or shredded coconut for rolling

Directions:

  • BLEND in a food processor: 1 cup Medjool dates (softened in hot water), ¾ cup nut or seed butter, 3 tbsp cacao powder, 1½ tsp cinnamon, 1 scoop protein powder, and a pinch of salt until thick dough forms.
  • DRIZZLE 1-2 tbsp warm water if needed.
  • ROLL with slightly wet hands into 8 balls and chill for 30 minutes.
  • STORE in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.


OPTIONAL:

  • Roll the balls in cocoa or coconut.
